After breakfast on halloween morning we carved pumpkins. The girls had fun doing that. We gave them a marker and let them draw their face and then daddy cut it out, Adrianah drew big circles for the eyes and then put dots in the middle, i told her daddy couldn't really cut that out that way and she said that was fine, her's was pretty simple, just 3 big circles, two eyes and a mouth. After Petras was carved she drew on hers a bit more. Here's what they turned out like.
Once Wildor was finished with Adrianah's pumpkin she was pretty excited that "daddy made it have pupils!!" thats what she said. The plan this year was that Oma would come pick the girls up in the afternoon and take them to visit Auntie Margie and Uncle Ken in Black Diamond then to Oma and Opa's neighbors house to visit Jim and Vi (well Jim was gone so just Vi this time). Oma had us order pizza from Nick-n-Willy's (take and bake) it is becoming tradition that's what we do on halloween. So we got some pizza for dinner then daddy and opa stayed home to hand out candy and mommy and oma took the girls trick-or-treating. It was actually decent weather this year and it wasn't to cold. In fact, we had been out for about an hour when it was Oma that suggested we make our way back home cuz she was cold. Thats right, Oma was cold....not mommy this time!! Thats okay. They ended up getting alot of loot anyway. Here is some photos of some yards we saw on our ventures.

and what did the girls dress up as? Petra wanted to be a bat. And of course, her costume was homemade by Oma. Oma even made a bat costume for one of Petra's stuffed animals. And Adrianah decided to be witch again. And yes, her costume was also a "recycled" homemade costume that Auntie Ronya made a few years ago for them.
they got it down, they were nice and loud...here is a very short video at them at our neighbors house...
All in all, they got a crap load of chocolate, candy, and chips....
We will be eating junk for a while i think.
